London’s Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS - London’s Air Ambulance) provides road side emergency care to trauma patients within the M25. Since 2005 I have had the privilege to work with this incredible team.

Pre-Hospital Care is more than just the clinical care of the acutely injured patient, but a system of governance, scene safety and team management that converge to make the right things happen in a timely manner and expedite a patients transfer to the appropriate centre for further care.
